OUR HEARTBEAT

Volunteers are the heartbeat of Care Net Pregnancy Services! Every day men and women come to Care Net looking for help, information, and someone to accept them as they are and help them get where they are going. People like you are needed to meet the needs of our clients! We believe God has called us to express His love to our neighbors and we are looking for men and women who share that passion.

No special experience or prior training is needed to join our staff – just a non-judgmental attitude and a desire to help men and women facing unplanned pregnancies. All Care Net volunteers are carefully screened and trained to enable them to have the maximum impact in ministry. You are never too old (or too young) to be part of what is happening here!

Volunteer Opportunities

Make a difference on an ongoing basis in the lives of moms, dads, and families

Opportunities to Volunteer

The Crib Organizer

You will organize and maintain the CNPC Mart. Jobs include cleaning and checking baby supplies, reviewing safety recalls, labeling items, and handling Mart transactions for clients. Mart Organizers have some training and serve 1 to 2 hours per week as needed.

Opportunities for Men

Men's Mentor - you will provide one-on-one crisis intervention and/or ongoing support for men in unplanned pregnancies and with parenting needs. Advocates also maintain accurate and confidential client files. Advocates are provided with training and serve 2 to 5 hours per week.

Care Net volunteers are highly committed, compassionate people who make a big difference in the lives of our clients. A typical time commitment involves a weekly four-hour shift. Because we are committed to upholding a high level of care for the women who come to us, all potential volunteers undergo a screening and interview process.
